I am a big fan of DIY! It adds such a personal touch to your wedding and it is something that no one else will have. For an upcoming wedding I am planning we decided to do something a little different to create the candles. The bride has a little one at home so there is an abundance of baby food jars (although any jars would be perfect) so I decided to start creating our own DIY Candle Holders to go on each table.
Here is todays DIY Tutorial to make your own DIY Candle Holders:
It would be neat to do this at all different heights for each jar but with baby food jars there is a glue line that I was covering up so each jar went almost to the top. I also thought it would be really neat to put a piece of tape in the middle to make it striped.
Pour on the sparkles!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to put something underneath so you can dump the sparkles back into the container. I used wax paper. Make a crease in the paper so all the sparkles will fall right into that crease and then easily fall into your container when finished. Make sure to shake & tap off any extra sparkles.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!
BEAUTIFUL DIY WEDDING CANDLE HOLDERS!
Have a great weekend!
