Tea Party Wedding

Wedding Tea Party

With weddings forever changing and brides raising the bar with each wedding that passes a fun idea that you don’t see very often is a Tea Party Wedding! The soft colours, with roses and pearls and of course tea cups!

Here are some of my favourite tea party wedding ideas!

Wedding Tea PartyWedding Tea Party Centrepiece
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
This would be such a GORGEOUS centrepiece for each table.
If this is something you are thinking would be perfect for your Tea Party Wedding then start visiting garage sales and flea markets to get a variety of old jewellery boxes. This box was found on ETSY and uses fake flowers but I think the use of real flowers and having the pearls incorporated in the jewellery box would be perfect.

Tea Party WeddingI immediately fell in love with this cake I found on Ruffled Blog. The love birds on top in the tea cup are so special combined with the lace, stripes, roses and vintage label make this the perfect cake for a tea party wedding. Make this cake your colours and you are set!

Tea Party WeddingThis would be really fun to use at the dessert table filled with little treats like macroons and chocolate covered strawberries. Make it a DIY project and start collecting tea cups and tea pots you find in your colours then glue them together.
This image I found on Confetti Day Dreams Blog where they have some wonderful DIY Alice in Wonderland Ideas. Lots of great ideas!

Tea Party WeddingTea Cup Favor Idea
I found this image on interest and thought it would be such a great idea to have a tea cup favor for your guests. In the image they just have some flowers in a cup but if I were to do it I would want the tea cups for the guests to take home and enjoy. Plant a succulent in a pretty tea cup. Then add a little string and and printable tea bag hanging off saying thank you for helping us celebrate our special day. So love it!

Tea Party WeddingI don’t know about you but I definitely think vintage keys go with the Wedding Tea Party theme so here is a really great idea from United With Love to use keys as your chair tie.

Tea Party WeddingLOVE! I am picturing this as either a custom chandelier OR my favourite idea would be to have a bunch of these hung behind the head table as a backdrop all lit up. Possibly even lit with different coloured lights in each tea cup.  This was also found on Confetti Day Dreams DIY Alice In Wonderland Ideas

Tea Party WeddingSuch a pretty centrepiece I found on Loverly

Tea Party WeddingTea cups, vintage clocks, books and candles are a perfect mix for a Tea Party Wedding. Also think Alice in Wonderland like United With Love to get more ideas.

Think Vintage for your upcoming Tea Party Wedding.

Be inspired by your surroundings and look for fun patterns & colours and don’t try to make everything match. The beauty of a Tea Party is the mixture of everything.

These ideas are just DARLING!! And I love the suggestion to shop the local flee markets and garage sales. Garage sales have so many hidden treasures! This suggestion goes beyond the tea party and into the morning after brunch ideas as well, especially if it is just an intimate gathering with close family!

This is also a great way for a couple to cut costs by serving a Tea Brunch for their wedding. Great article.
