makeup artist edmonton - Love makeupbymeg she does beautiful classic makeup! #edmonton #makeup #artist

Are you looking for a Edmonton Makeup Artist? Maybe for your wedding, a big event, if your a mom maybe a night out with your honey (yep those nights are worth celebrating!) Well I have an amazing makeup artist that you should definitely know about! The reason I picked Meghan to be our feature today is one because she does great work (which of course is a must) but also because she really does love what she does.

Soooo on to the Q&A so we can get to the photos!!

  1. How many weddings have you done?
I have done over 30 weddings, not including engagement photos shoots, boudoir etc.
  2. What is your background? Where did you learn to apply makeup?
I’ve been doing professional makeup since 2005, but learning my whole life. I am primarily a self-taught makeup artist; However, I attend international makeup artist trade shows across North America, taking courses from the beauty director of Loreal, Kandee Johnson, and many top celebrity artists.
I have been on CTV, and write as a beauty columnist for a magazine based out of Vancouver: BeautyBliss.
  3. Can you duplicate a makeup look from a photo?
  4. I can duplicate makeup from photos easily.
  5. Do you offer a wedding party package?
I charge per hour. I do not charge a particular kind of client more than another, as I do my best on all clients, and use the same amount of product. I want everyone to look awesome! I do not offer packages at this time.
  6. Can I book you for a trial run wedding day look?
Booking a trial is a good idea. I give brides 20% off trials. Trials give us time to discuss looks and preferences, favourite products, how to prep skin for the big day, AND get to know each other a bit… which is fun!
  7. Do you travel to the bride on the wedding day?
I travel to my clients. I charge a travel fee outside of Edmonton, and surrounding areas.
  8. What are the top trends in makeup for weddings?
I’m not a big fan of trends. If you look through makeup on the KnottyBride.comBHLDN.com or StyleMePretty.com most of wedding makeup is classic and beautiful- I like that! While I like color and innovative products, I’d rather create a look that brings out your individual features, and suits my clients personal style. I like fresh, classic, natural makeup- but can easily turn up the glam! You won’t get me putting on ‘too much makeup’, or bright blue eyeshadow if you don’t ask! I want to make my clients happy!
