Hello my lovely readers!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! To start your morning off right I am sharing with you the wedding photos of Erin + Mike who were married August 10, 2013 in Jasper, Alberta.
There are a few things that I am totally loving about this wedding!
To name a few… I love
1. the initials carved into the wood tree slices. This is so unique and personalized and such an easy detail. I’ve done a little looking for you and found some great tree slices you can use for your wedding. Use a tree stump for your wedding cake, Tree sliced table numbers or like above custom initialed tree slices.
2. I am always loving anything that gives inspiration so the trunk with the inspirational messages inside are something I totally adore! But also check out the custom stationery for this wedding! Everything coordinates and it is so amazing!! (pssst… check our wednesday post to get your own customized stationery!!)
3. The DIY Mason Jars!! Yes!! Mason jars are such a fabulous way to bring in some customization, work with your theme and keep your budget in line!! I’ve found a few links on how you can customize your own mason jars! Here is a DIY sea glass frosted mason jar, DIY frosted mason jars like the above photo and a DIY frosted lace mason jar.
A few details about the couple:
Erin mixed deep purples with light whimsical baby’s breath and warm burlap. The venue was the perfect spot for a romantic wedding with a patio ceremony and warm wood interior for the reception. The Bride and Groom did a knot tying ceremony and had guest write personal messages on rocks. After the ceremony we did photos at a beautiful lake in Jasper. Mike as been fixing up his bright orange Chevy for quite some time so of course we did some shots with his ‘baby’. Guests were treated to homemade granola as their wedding favor.
