Well we made it through Bridal Fantasy and it was really nice to get to meet so many brides and hear all about their wedding, design ideas and colours. There was such a variety in wedding styles from person to person.
The one thing I like about doing Bridal Fantasy is we really get to create a booth display of something out of a fairy tale. Sometimes it can be realistic and sometimes it can be over the top but the great thing is it is there to inspire. Everything created can be amplified or toned down to fit wedding style or budget. This year we decided to go with a luxury shabby chic garden. We brought in our custom boxwood hedge, some beautiful furniture we made all shabby chic and of course partnered with some really talented vendors in Edmonton.
Laurel’s On Whyte joined their booth with ours to create a larger display giving more room to share ideas, for brides to walk into our booth and for us to really showcase what we can do. Flowers were everywhere, in the table runner flowing down to the floor, placed in our hedge, in tall floral arrangements, in bouquets and even in our shabby chic desk drawer.
We also worked with Pinkpolka Wedding Design for our stationery. They created our super cute instagram contest sign with the floral detailing. The menu cards at each seat, all our signage and the very cute “We Are The Key To Your Planning” favour keys.
Who can miss the seriously delicious desserts and cake provided by The Art Of Cake, who by the way won best booth this year! They created a super cute cake, my favourite their snicker doodle cookies and the petite fours as well as intricately designed cookies and mini cupcakes. All staples for any dessert table as far as I am concerned.
Any event cannot be complete without working with a rental company who has it all in one place for you to rent for your event. We worked with Special Event Rentals to bring in the items we didn’t have such as the beautiful table linens, especially their new woven metallic gold linen on our main table. The chiavari chairs, plates, golden cutlery and gold rimmed wine glasses. It is so much fun to be able to go into Special Event Rentals and select all the items that compliment the design and bring your idea to life.
And of course LIFEDOTSTYLE Wedding Photography who provided these absolutely stunning images of our booth. Without these photos I couldn’t share with you all the hard work that went into creating this space that existed for only a few hours!
I truly believe if you partner with the best you get the best and this booth really showcased so much great talent. Hope you enjoy the photos!
What is your favourite detail on our booth?
