Hey beautiful brides! I am SO EXCITED for the February Tablescape because it is incredibly beautiful and inspired by the month of Love and Valentines Day. I partnered with some of my favourite Edmonton Wedding Vendors to put this together which makes it even more special. You are going to fall in love with this look and definitely want to recreate it for your wedding. Before we get sharing I have to send a HUGE thank you to the amazing ladies at LifeDotStyle Photography for capturing all these images and for the use of their studio. They truly are incredible at what they do!
So as I said with February being the month of Valentines day I really wanted to play up the theme of LOVE, happiness, pretty pinks, reds and adding in a few different textures.
So I started this theme with the idea of creating this DIY Valentines Day Table Runner and then building upon that. I liked that it was going to bring in some black and white elements so that it wasn’t all pinks and reds. I usually like to find one focus piece and build off on that item to create the whole look. I then added in the vibrant pink linen as the base and gold accents in the cutlery and chargers. With the table runner going to be black and white x’s and o’s I wanted the napkins to kinda play up that fun feeling. So when I saw that Special Event Rentals had polka dot napkins I knew it would be perfect together!
I am really thankful to Special Event Rentals for allowing me to borrow from their giant closet of rentals to create this because it was exactly what I needed to pull it all together. I even asked for these gorgeous chairs which definitely were a challenge to fit into my large SUV with the other rental items. However they are AMAZING! and would be incredible for the Bride & Groom chairs at the head table. I am swooning over them for sure!
And can we just talk FLOWERS!!! Let’s just say Obsessed! Laurels on Whyte always does an incredible job with their flowers and this time they went above and beyond my expectations. The perfect shade of vibrant pinks, blushes and all the greenery. It looked so incredible on the table and pulled the whole look.
Now can we just pop over to ceiling flowers! Wow! I had this idea that I wanted to hang flowers from the ceiling. And it sounded like a great idea at the time, then I started hanging them and was thinking “OMG what did I get myself into” because this is going to take forever. BUT, it really doesn’t, you don’t want to go too over the top because less is more. So don’t be afraid to add this to your head table, you won’t regret it. And if you need any planner help then I am more than happy to help you!
For the accessories just have a little fun. With Valentines Day Coming up finding a bunch of Valentines Inspired items was easy but just in case you want to find them quickly I have put together a collection below for you to check out.
Thanks for popping in today! If you haven’t picked up your Free Edmonton Wedding Venue Guide yet make sure you do! It will make your wedding planning so much easier and way more fun!
