20 Wedding Backdrop Ideas

20 wedding backdrop ideas

There are so many fun wedding backdrop ideas out there and I love sharing this today because a beautiful backdrop is what frames the couple for all their wedding reception photos. Picture yourself at your head table happily newly married listening to all the speeches with a big smile, or kissing your partner when the glasses are clinked. The photographer snaps a photo and it is of you and your partner enjoying the evening with a giant EXIT sign above your head. As a wedding planner this is my pet peeve lol, I want your day to be perfect and for those photos that you get to enjoy later to showcase you the happy couple not this giant sign above you, or the fire extinguisher to the right, or the door the caterer comes in and out of. So today let’s chat about some beautiful wedding backdrop ideas that you are going to love!

20 Wedding Backdrop Ideas

Kind of obsessed with this beautiful backdrop with the metallic meet the Jalgers sign!

There has been so many beautiful Hexagon arches lately so I love this circle one with the grid laid into it. It’s the perfect spot for flowers to fill.

Use your wedding ceremony backdrops again for your head table!

I like to add something a little different when they are being used again, like add hanging candles, additional flowers, maybe twinkle lights. For this backdrop consider hanging it without the lights for the ceremony and then for the reception adding in the lighting.

Lots of couples have been asking for this look lately, and it is the perfect transition arch to go from ceremony to reception!!

I have always adored the classic backdrop with the white sheer fabric and draped coloured fabric. Add in some chandeliers and it just ups the level of romance.

Seriously so fun!! The giant chalkboard lettering just makes this so custom and unique.

I would love to hear which one of those backdrops are your favourite and how you would make them your own! Comment below and tell me.
